City of St Davids, a couple of miles away (5 minute bus ride from Whitesands Beach car park) or a half hour walk; here you can visit the Cathedral and Bishops Palace, enjoy a meal in one of the handful of pubs or restaurants, or collect the essentials you may need on site.
Porthsele and Porth Melgan beaches are about a mile away from Whitesands on the coast path (no dog restrictions on these beaches or the coastal path in the summer months).
